Day Two - Spice vs. the Saddle

Day Two was quite exciting!!!

Savannah has been working on tying and Spice is doing great!

Savannah trying to get Spice worried but she didn't flinch

Backing up:

Now for the bareback pad. Spice was a bit cinchy but she's WAY over that now!

Lunging with the bareback pad. Spice did great! She's a bit sticky on her right side.

Savannah asked Spice to lope:

Disengaging her hind end:

And now for the saddle!! Savannah flapped the stirrups, jumped up and down at her sides and tapped the top of the saddle. Spice was a bit worried with the movement but settled right down.

Asking for the lope again and Spice got a little frisky!

Getting ready to buck:

After Spice was done bucking and started to listen, Savannah let her rest and get situated again:

Nice trot!

But when Savannah asked Spice to lope again, well........

Another break after Spice decided it was WAY more work to buck than to behave.

Check back for Day Three's post! I'm sure Spice is looking forward to it!!!
